Geroa School – ( Waldorf-Steiner)

A group of educational buildings (2700 m2) surrounded by nature. The architectural project is inspired by the principles of Waldorf education of beauty, simplicity, order, harmony, rhythm and peace. The aim is that each child feels secure and without distractions that could restrict their own healthy growth.

This set of buildings consists mainly of small independent volumes, forming a whole integrated subtly in its own surroundings, respecting all the existing large trees and bushes.

These volumes are penetrated with a series of wide fully-glazed openings that each look at the three great mountains of the Basque Country.
