Dental Clinic Perona

This narrow commercial unit possesses irregular spaces both horizontally and vertically.

The significant height of the ground floor helped organize the street elevation creating a strong abstract geometry.

This dental clinics facade uses separated cedar soft cladding contrasting the hard neighboring materials on the same street.

By using this material throughout the length of the unit it unifies its entire length both in daylight and at night.

The warm interior finishes of timber panels along with the shading provided by the cedar cladding provide the offices with natural light which is under control throughout the year.

On the first floor the materials are colder and more appropriate to its dental uses.

Organized on the ground floor are the glazed yet intimately hidden reception and waiting room. On the first floor are the clinics and sterilizing room.

When one approaches the clinic we are drawn in by the interesting play of light behind the cedar cladding, then a subtle light at end of a white wall draws you up to the stair to the first floor.
